'Orientating to the Heart: Relational Transformation'
Retreat on the Magical Isle of Anglesey
Friday 10th May to Sunday 12th May 2024
I am very pleased to be able to invite you to join me for a retreat on my home island of Anglesey this coming May.
The weekend will focus upon the Heart and its ability to connect us with the wider world and our deeper selves; exploring how we can align our heart and minds to create new perspectives.
We will also spend some time familiarising ourselves with the beautiful 'marriage' of Shiva and Shakti as an introduction to the wonderful Classical Tantra tradition.
There will be asana, meditation, chanting, creative activities, and time spent in nature, as well as opportunities to connect with each other.
Venue:
The weekend is to be held at Outdoor Alternative which is a centre on the south coast of Anglesey. It sits on a headland looking over towards the mountain range of Snowdonia and is just a few minutes from a wonderful beach and a small quiet cove. There are plenty of places to enjoy asana practice, meditation, fires, beautiful night skies and having some fun. And you can always find somewhere quiet for a little alone time if you need it too.
Initial Retreat Details:
Arrivals for the retreat are from 4pm onwards on the Friday afternoon and the retreat finishes at 1.30pm after lunch on Sunday.
We have use of a whole house at the centre where there is simple, comfortable, shared accomodation. Below the bedrooms there is a good-sized kitchen/dining room for meals, which is well-maintained and airy, with seated areas available.
The meals would be a self-serve breakfast, and a wonderful lunch and a three course evening meal which would be prepared for us.
Outside there is a fabulous yurt which we can use for practice, although there will be times when we will head to the headlands and beach instead.
The overall cost will be £290. The number of places are limited to 14 and so if you wish to join us for this time away please email me at sarahbeck042@gmail.com initially to express your interest.
Then if a place is available, you will need to send me a deposit of £50 to secure your place, with the remainder to paid by 1st March 2024.
